do I send documents?

1) Click on the Send EDI
Interchanges option shown on the left side of the screen.
2) Select the file
that contains the EDI document you wish to send.

Use the Browse button to look for the EDI file and/or use the View button to
"Look At" the file you are about to send.
3) Click on "Submit".
After clicking the "Submit" you will see a message indicating that the file
has been sent into the service.
4).Select the "Sent
Box" option on the left-hand menu to track the progress of the document across
the service.
What is the "Sent Box"?

The Sent Box is a list of EDI documents that you have sent into the service.
Typically, the document will be immediately accepted and sent on to your trading
partner. At some future point, your trading partner will extract the document
from his mailbox. Any errors will be reported very early in this process. Each
entry displays the following information:
Receiver's ID
- This is the Interchange Services' ID of your trading partner.
Company Name - This
is name of the company associated to the Interchange Services' ID of your trading
partner.
Application Reference - This is a name setup in your trading partnership
that identifies the document type being traded with the trading partner (e.g.
ORDERS or INVOICE).
Sender's Reference - This is the ID you entered to identify the document.
Service Reference - This is a unique 18 digit number generated by Interchange
Services for each document that you have sent into the service.
Date/Time - This is the date and time that you sent the file into the
service.
Status - This is the current status of the document. It will either be
Accepted, Extracted or Errors. Clicking on the status will result in a window
being displayed that gives you a detailed breakdown of your document's progress
across the service.
N.B. - Selecting Refresh will cause the service to go out and check the very latest status of all your documents.

is the "In Box"?

The In Box is a list of documents that have been received into your mailbox
on the service. With each entry displaying the following information:
Sender's ID - This is the Interchange Services' ID of your trading partner.
Company Name - This
is name of the company associated to the Interchange Services's ID of your trading
partner.
Application Reference - This is a name setup in your trading partnership
that identifies the document type being traded with the trading partner (e.g.
ORDERS or INVOICE).
Sender's Reference - This is the ID your trading partner entered to
identify the document.

Services for each document that your trading partners sent into the service.
Status - This is the current status of the document. It will either
be Opened or Unopened depending on whether you have received the file.

mailbox to see if you have received any more documents.
How do
I Receive documents?

While viewing the In Box you must select a document and then you can Choose
to view the document by selecting the "Open Selected Item" button or you can
Choose to save the document on your machine by selecting the "Save Selected
Item" button. The opened item can be deleted from the Mailbox by selecting the
"Delete Selected Item" button. The "Multiple Extraction" button is
provided to download more than one file at a time based on the user option on
the form opened on clicking that button. You can download the multiple files
in to single or to individual files based on the option selected on the multiple
extraction form. The Inbox item can be deleted by selecting an item and clicking
on the "Delete Selected Item". The "Multiple Deletion" button
is provided to delete more than one item from the Inbox based on the criteria
given in the Multiple Deletion form.
What is the Session Log? Top
This shows the details of the communications session when documents were sent into the service. You will normally only use this option under the direction of Client Services.
What are Preferences? Top
Preferences allows you to control how dates and times are displayed and whether when you save or view any items in your inbox they are converted from Unix to DOS format.
